“ Long line but worth it! We got the banana split sundae with three different flavor ice creams. My fave was the chocolate plus the hot fudge and cookie pieces. I found the price to be reasonable considering we were in Dumbo. Nice service. Lots of seating area. It's a cute spot. ”
“ Before walking across the Brooklyn Bridge, we came across Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory. I must say we were wondering why there was such a line of people so we could not resist. By the time it came for us to order, the line had already cleared. What a delicious treat. We had the Butter Pecan Ice Cream and it truly was delicious. ”
“ Did we stop by for ice cream in 20 degree weather?..... yes, yes we did! The ice cream parlor is a quick walk up window where you can view the prices and get to meet some friendly faces. Prices are a bit steep for two scoops in a cone but it's worth the stop. We did see a bar section with a few people hanging out so this will be our next visit. Thanks again! ”
“ We were in New York in what felt like the heat of summer, mid July. Made the trip out to Dumbo on Day 2 to see the Brooklyn Bridge and right across from that bridge, in big bold letters, BROOKLYN ICE CREAM FACTORY. They had me at 'ice cream'-- and the colors were cute, so that's a plus. Crossed the street, got in line... not too many people ahead of me. Friendly service and got my order quickly-- double scoop of the Peaches n Cream. The ice cream was creamy and delicious... Super refreshing. I was sweatin' my ass off so this was just what the doctor ordered! Downside? It was melting wayyyyy too fast. I like to savor and enjoy my ice cream so I hated that I had to hurry up and guzzle this down as quick as possible. Made an absolute mess of my hand-- I hate sticky fingers! Can't put the fault on them though... The sun was wreaking havoc! ... not the best ice cream I've ever had but it was still pretty damn good. ”
“ A must stop once you cross the Brooklyn Bridge! They do classic ice cream scoops and sundaes. Admittedly, it's not my favorite ice cream in the city but I do enjoy their peaches and cream and butter pecan. It's conveniently located, very clean, and the line moves pretty quickly considering how popular it is. I always take friends and family here when they're in town. ”
“ First off, ice cream is great. Very creamy and rich. I got the butter pecan and peaches and cream. The butter pecan had lots of nuts and paired well with the ice cream. The peaches and cream was super good too, the peaches were actual cut up peaches so they had a great punch of flavor. Service was quite good. Super chill dudes serving and while I was looking for my card to pay, my ice cream spawned in front of me like magic since they made it so fast. W crew Ambiance was pretty litty. Nice spot and a cool little courtyard with seating. Got to even listen in on some weird drama from this friend group sitting behind me. Brittany was not very happy with Daniel. (She's still yelling) All and all you should come here. W ice cream W Brooklyn ”
“ Came here last week on a lovely hot summer evening. It's convenient that this establishment is located well before the entrance of the park as opposed to inside of the park. I came here with the intention of getting a Dulce de Leche shake or a shake with caramel. I ordered the vanilla shake with caramel syrup and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It wasn't the best shake I've had, but I feel as though you're best bet it to get ice cream here only. I plan on getting a scoop of butter pecan and a scoop of vanilla chocolate chunk in a waffle cone with sprinkles the next time around. The customer service wasn't the best; it took a while to obtain my order and actually get rung up. I only see myself coming back here once or twice in my life. I prefer Haagen Dasz. ”
“ A touristy spot for ice cream tucked into the heart of Dumbo -- the line looks long but tends to move pretty fast. We stopped by for a post-dinner treat on a Saturday and it was a solid 10-15 minute wait. The staff is efficient and nice. The scoops are large (and IMHO a little pricey) but they do come with free sprinkles if you want them. I'd recommend sharing a scoop with a friend. The ice cream itself was alright but the hot fudge was the clear standout! ”
“ I stopped by Sunday night with my cousins for some ice cream and a stroll around the pier/park. The line for this place was cracking, but it moves fairly fast. They have limited flavors it seems because it's their classics/what they have been known for their homemade ice cream. There was a season flavor during our visit, but it was already sold out. You are allowed to ask to try the flavors if you would like. We ended up getting the chocolate chocolate chunk on a waffle cone x 2 and a vanilla chocolate chunk on a waffle cone. For a single scoop of ice cream it was $8. You have the option to put the scoops in a waffle cone ($1 extra), sugar cone or cup. I liked the chocolate chocolate chunk as it was not very sweet. However, it was super melty compared to my cousin's vanilla chocolate chunk in a waffle cone. The ice cream was super creamy and rich in flavor. The chocolate chunks inside were fairly large where you can actually enjoy it. The waffle cone was on the thinner side, the ice cream was dripping down the cone but also so much so that it was coming out from where the paper was on the cone. From my past experience working at an ice cream shop, I think if the cone was a little thicker, it would drip through the cone like that. Overall, pretty tasty ice cream. A tad pricy for what it was but it's a treat. At least the scoop was a decent size for a single and there are plenty of seats if you prefer to sit while you eat your dessert. If you are looking for more plain flavors, this would be a good place to try. If not, there is another ice cream shop that has more unique flavors across the street. ”
“ Honestly such good ice cream!!! Service was good and it's got a great view of the Brooklyn Bridge from their patio. We showed up a few minutes before closing and stayed until they finally asked us to leave so they could finish cleaning for the night. It was awesome!! Definitely recommend! Definitely coming back here! ”
